Vacant to Viable: Strategies for Addressing Commercial Corridors in Detroit


Changes in population, shopping habits, and retail industry structure have left commercial corridors with many vacant buildings and much empty land. This plan suggests approaches to achieving four goals – improve safety, improve appearance, promote property owner accountability, and transition and focus commercial corridor activity.
