P+ARG
The Planning and Architecture Research Group (P+ARG) is an organization created by and for doctoral students at Taubman College. Our primary purpose is to enhance the academic and social experiences of research students in the college. We seek to foster a sense of community and sustain an exchange of ideas among planning and architecture students and others interested in issues of the built environment. We organize casual social events, conversation forums, and workshops for sharing research across disciplines, through which students get a chance to improve their scholarship and receive constructive feedback from their peers. The group has also served as a platform to approach institutional leaders and administrators with our aspirations and concerns as a student body.

In addition to our conferences, we are best known for our Emerging Voices series, which has brought many outstanding scholars to campus since its inception in 2009.
