Taubman College Etienne Participates in ISR Panel “On Whiteness” Featuring Claudia Rankine
As a part of the events surrounding the University of Michigan’s MLK Symposium, Assistant Professor of Urban and Regional Planning, Harley Etienne participated in cross-disciplinary talk “On Whiteness” hosted by the Institute for Social Research. The event held on Tuesday, January 17th, began with poet and MacArthur Fellow, Claudia Rankine, sharing her recent work. The conversation continued with on with professors and researchers from varied disciplines shared their thoughts on American racism and the scholar-activist.
