Expanded Horizons 2015

The Expanded Horizons program is designed to engage Master of Urban Planning students with planning professionals, neighborhood associations, urban designers and architects. The program is an intensive, on-site field study aimed at exposure and understanding of the planning profession.

Visits included Strada LLC and Perkins Eastman, both multidisciplinary design firms, among other firms and sites. Students also had the chance to view the projects of non-profit organizations including the Green Building Alliance.

Since its inception in 1989, Expanded Horizons has traveled to a number of cities in the U.S. and Canada, including Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Cincinnati, Philadelphia and Toronto.
