Taubman College faculty contribute to award winning book on Social Structures of Sustainability

Four Taubman College faculty members have contributed to an award-winning book titled, Constructing Green: The Social Structures of Sustainability, which has received Honorable Mention for the 2014 Best Book Award from the Organizations & Natural Environment Division of the Academy of Management.

The faculty include: Larissa Larsen, Associate Professor of Urban and Regional Planning; Monica Ponce de Leon, Dean and Eliel Saarinen Collegiate Professor of Architecture and Urban and Regional Planning; Geoffrey Thün, Associate Professor of Architecture; and Kathy Velikov, Assistant Professor of Architecture.

Constructing Green: The Social Structures of Sustainability examines the cultural, social, and organizational shifts that sustainable building requires, examining the fundamental challenge to centuries-long traditions in design and construction that green building represents.
