Architecture students produce exhibition at Weiser Center on Ukrainian artist Bodhan Soroka

Architecture students Ashish Bhandari (UG1), Joe Diamond (UG1), Martin Elliot (UG3), Daniel Glick-Unterman (UG3), Phil Marcantonio (UG3), Nathan Orleskie (UG1), Dwight Portocarrero (UG3), and Roger Salinas (UG1) have collaborated to produce an exhibition of linocut prints by well-known Ukrainian artist Bodhan Soroka.

The exhibition, titled “Ukrainian Wooden Churches,” will be on display October 3-31 in the Weiser Center for Eastern European and Eurasian studies in Room 3668 of the School of Social Work.

According to Daniel Glick-Unterman, one of the student organizers, “Producing this exhibition was a strong learning experience for all of us, in craft and design, as well as in the processes of organization and communication that we have found to be equally or more important in professional practice.”

A reception for the exhibition will be hosted by the Weiser Center in the same location as the exhibition on November 15th. All Taubman College students and faculty are welcome.
