MUP Students Visit Milwaukee – City Becomes Classroom for Four Days

In mid-September, first-year MUP students traveled to Milwaukee to use the city as their classroom for four days. They met with city officials, urban farmers, architects, and developers as part of the annual Expanded Horizons trip. Before they headed back to Ann Arbor, the students rooted out invasive species and restored natural habitats at Milwaukee’s Urban Ecology Center.
