Taubman College Earthzine awards M.U.P. student Michelle Lam first-place in sustainability essay contest
M.U.P. student Michelle Wai-Hon Lam won Earthzine’s 3rd Annual College and University Student Essay and Blogging Contest, a global essay competition on sustainability. The contest featured six essays on ways that Earth observation can help us build a more sustainable world. Lam’s winning essay is titled “Seeing like a Planet: From Global Consciousness to Global Conscience.” Earthzine is an online source for news, articles, information and educational materials about Earth science, Earth observations and users of Earth information for the international Earth-observing community.
