Taubman faculty speak at 25th Annual University of Michigan and Urban Land Institute Real Estate Forum

Real estate professionals from across the industry gathered on November 9 and 10, 2011, in Detroit for the 25th Annual University of Michigan and Urban Land Institute Real Estate Forum. Presented by Taubman College and Urban Land Institute Michigan, the Real Estate Forum included a combination of presentations by leading local, regional and national real estate practitioners, workshops and guided bus and walking tours.

Taubman alumni Malik R. Goodwin and Thomas Sherry, AIA, and Professor of practice in urban and regional planning Christopher B. Leinberger, were among the many distinguished speakers at the event. Discussion topics included Detroit’s economic growth corporation and the role of design in urban development.

The UM/ULI Real Estate Forum is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to enhancing real estate education both professional and on the university level. UM/ULI continues to assist the University in promoting scholarship and professionalism in the real estate community.
