Taubman PhD Colloquium Speaker Series Session #3
The built environment shapes how we behave in public and how we navigate our identity. When designers have the power to create spaces, what responsibility should we take, and how do we reflect on the impact we made? In this panel, we invite Taubman Architecture Fellow Adam Miller to discuss how temporary spatial interventions can support people to express the relationship between their body and space, and challenge the built-in rules or value system. The conversation invites people to think about the possibilities of unconventional space. Through inviting people to use the space creatively, we can have broader understand on what kind of space can bring inclusivity a bit closer.
