Hosted by the U-M Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering and co-sponsored by Taubman College, this lecture features Brown University Professor Elizabeth Fussell discussing a climate change, disasters, and migration systems research agenda and how it relates to the human habitat experience. A panel discussion follows the lecture, including Pamela Jenkins, professor emeritus, Center for Hazards Assessment, Response, and Technology, University of New Orleans; and Elizabeth Maly, associate professor, International Research Institute of Disaster Science, Tohoku University.
