Taubman College Freshman Orientation 2019

Multiple Orientations Offered (June 11-13, 2019 & July 30-August 1, 2019)

Freshman orientation is the first step in your transition to The University of Michigan - it helps bridge the gap between high school and college. The University of Michigan expects undergraduate students who are admitted for the Fall Term attend one of the Summer Orientation Programs offered in June or July.

*Parent Orientation is held on June 12 and July 31 from 10:30 am - 12 pm.

While at Summer Orientation, freshmen complete all necessary steps to register for Fall Term classes, including placement testing, group and individual academic advising, and course registration. Students leave orientation with a complete Fall Term schedule of classes, including sections and times. If you are unable to attend one of these sessions, then you must attend the Final Fall Orientation.
