Favorite book and why: It’s hard to pick favorites, but recently, Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson, a powerful account from a lawyer committed to defending those who need it most.

Favorite thing to do when not at TC:  Spending time in coffee shops and bookstores - with friends or just with a book.

DEI Contribution/Highlight: As one of the Social Chairs of UPSA, I try to foster a welcoming and safe community for all members of our program through events. As the DEI GSSA, my goal is to help integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion into the daily conversations and actions of the student body at Taubman College.

Why is diversity, equity, and inclusion important to you?: Diversity, equity, and inclusion are important because all people are important. I believe that diverse voices add richness and that inclusive places that promote equity become more whole.
