Favorite thing to do when not at TC:  Working on projects for my Design Company based in Dubai, UAE

DEI Contribution/Highlight: I am one of the few women from the UAE in the MSDT program at Taubman. I aim to educate others on women's role in the workplace in Arab countries, because there are a lot of misconceptions about the Middle East.

Why is diversity, equity, and inclusion important to you?: It’s important to discuss tough issues  publicly. The only way to avoid misunderstandings is to learn about others’ multifaceted identities. Especially as an international student, it’s hard to adjust when others have preconceived notions about you and your culture.
