What are other identities that you would like to share? I am from rural Tennessee.

Favorite book/author and why: Speak, Memory by Vladimir Nabokov. It is beautifully written and emotionally complex.

Favorite thing to do when not at TC: Travel internationally!

Why is diversity, equity, and inclusion important to you? Everyone deserves an equal chance at success, especially in an academic environment. It is our role as educators to advance the ideals of DEI to ensure the best learning environment for all.

How have you helped advance diversity, equity, and inclusion at Taubman College? (Please respond in no more than two sentences.) I started a faculty discussion group to improve our collective knowledge of architectural precedents by a diverse group of designers.
