Why is diversity, equity, and inclusion important to you? Diversity comes in many forms: gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, age, culture, socioeconomic background, etc. and all of these contribute to an individual’s experience of the world. Diversity is important to me because by exploring other individuals’ ideas, beliefs, and lifestyles, we can open ourselves to problem solving by looking at things through other lenses which can help with our own self-growth and learning.
