Kelbaugh Organizes Congress for the New Urbanism Climate Summit

Douglas Kelbaugh, FAIA, Professor of Architecture and former Dean organized the Congress for the New Urbanism (CNU) Climate Summit, held September 29-30, 2017. The weekend conference brought together leaders from over a dozen leading groups and organizations that address problems of climate change, building sustainable places, and preserving the natural environment. Over the two days organizations like Architecture 2030, USGBC, NRDC, Citizen’s Climate Lobby, ULI and FEMA shared their expertise in an effort to discuss “the role of design and the built environment, and how it can “best contribute to and enhance climate change efforts.”
