Dezeen Features Matter Design's Microtherme Installation

Dezeen Features Matter Design’s Microtherme Installation

Wes McGee, Assistant Professor of Architecture and Director of the FABLab, along with partner Brandon Clifford (MIT), were featured in architecture and design magazine Dezeen in an article on their Microtherme installation. The project was part of the BSA-curated exhibit “Bigger Than a Breadbox, Smaller Than a Building.” The installation is a translation of a traditional spa into a condensed space which invites users to experience the sensory and thermal qualities of the design. Microtherme was produced using machine milled EPS, Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete, and Copper tubing for heating and cooling.

Read more about the project in the Dezeen article and on Matter Design.
