M1DTW, Ply Architecture, and MAde Studio Win Four AIA Michigan Honor Awards

Four out of the twelve 2015 AIA Michigan Honor Awards went to Taubman College faculty-led firms. M1DTW led by Assistant Professor of Practice in Architecture Christian Unverzagt won two awards; one Building Award for Mills Pharmacy + Apothecary and one Interior Award for 6 Salon, both in Birmingham, Michigan. Ply Architecture, whose principal is Professor Craig Borum, won a Building Award for 500 Barton Shores Drive, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The award in the Low Budget category went to MAde Studio, a collaboration between Assistant Professors Jen Maigret and María Arquero de Alarcón, for Playful Horizons, located in Battle Creek, Michigan.

The awards will be presented at the AIAMI 2015 Honor Awards Celebration on June 5, 2015. More information coming soon.
