Term Fall 2018
Class ARCH 660
Class Title Thesis Development Seminar
Description The thesis option is comprised of two components: a three-credit-hour seminar in the fall term and a six-credit-hour thesis studio in the winter term. The thesis option is an independent study opportunity for those students who are sufficiently mature and self-motivated to benefit from self-directed creative work. Arch 660 takes the form of a seminar plus individual tutorials. Each thesis student selects a faculty thesis advisor to work with throughout the year, as well as an outside consultant - a specialist with knowledge of the particular subject matter of the thesis. The prospective thesis student must present a statement of intent along with portfolio examples to a thesis committee for review and acceptance into the thesis option.
